What a morning. Momma called Paige and I. Seems she took a nasty spill down the stairs. She must be hurting pretty bad, because I was actually able to convince her to let me come home and help around the house.

Got to get some things taken care of, but I'm gonna be heading home in a few days for an indefinite stay.

I think she'll be all right. Doc says it's nothing that won't heal given time and staying off her feet. That'll be the hardest part for her, really. My momma has a lot of pride.
