So...

With everyone else seeming to be looking for roommates, I figured I'd toss my own hat into the ring. Anyone reckon they can stand to live with a good polite country boy? Ignore anything Gee says about my habits, I'm pretty easy to live with.

You know, I think that if I took you up on this, we'd be required by law to let a reality TV crew film it and turn it into a sitcom.

Sounds like fun to me.

I think you might be right. "What happens when you put a country boy and a city boy in the same room...and they're both mutants? Find out on...When Crazy Mutant Roommates Attack!" Or something like that.

There are locks on those doors, right?

[identity profile] x-shinobi.livejournal.com 2004-08-26 10:42 am (UTC)(link)
If there aren't, Sam's a Polite Country Boy. According to legend, they know how to knock on doors and wait for an invitation before entering. A rare breed, the Polite Country Boy, to be sure.

I'll check for a lock when I get my desk hauled up there.

Ignore me laughing in the corner.

I would suggest putting the desk in front of the door.

I'm sure Sam would hate to start a prank war in his very own living space. If he doesn't knock now, I'll just have to house train him.

I wasn't so much talking about a prank war as the idea of his being a Polite Country Boy.

Perhaps I should put my desk in front of my door now...

Yes, little sisters who think they're comedians and make fun of their big brothers might want to consider locking themselves in their room to avoid tickle attacks.

[identity profile] x-shinobi.livejournal.com 2004-08-26 11:53 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I know you weren't. But if Sam were to forget to knock at an inopportune time, I'd be forced to get revenge in some fashion, and a prank is about as harmless as one can get.

Need help moving your desk?

I don't know...the expression on his face if he does might be better than any revenge you or I could come up with.

Maybe.

Speaking as somebody who's still finding little explosive bundles of packing peanuts everywhere, your very own living space is the best place to start a prank war.
